These S’mores Waffles are too sinful!!! I don’t know about you, but I can do without the bug bites and smoky-smelling hair that accompanies the campfire version. Why not have this delightful combination of buttermilk graham cracker waffles, chocolate bars and marshmallows covered with extra chocolate and caramel syrup? The beauty of this recipe is that you can toast your marshmallows to absolute perfection using a kitchen torch! Finally, I can have a S’ More that I didn’t completely char over a campfire.
Don’t get me wrong, camping can be fun once in awhile if accompanied by the right beverages! Unfortunately, a camping trip isn’t going to happen for me right now. I am having nightmares already just thinking about trying to keep my one year old contained to a tent and a campsite (yikes…I guess the fire is kind of hazardous too).
If you can’t tell already, I live for breakfast food. It is my family’s favorite meal. I feel kind of guilty that I made these when my 3 year old spent the night at her grandparents’ house over the weekend. That’s okay, I know she had a great time having around the clock tea-parties with her Grandma. I know that she would have enjoyed them…probably a little too much! I mean, what kid wouldn’t enjoy chocolate and marshmallows for breakfast? Yikes…good thing I made Healthier Banana Bread last weekend to make up for this sinful delight.
